A New-man at the Helm of Lawrence Royal Ark Mariners.

 
Lawrence Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners Masons welcomed the Past Assistant Provincial Grand Master
Worshipful Brother Glyn Davies R.A.M.G.R. to their recent Installation Meeting.
 
Together with over thirty Royal Ark Mariners
Worshipful Brother Glyn Davies witnessed two
ceremonies.
 
The first being a Ceremony of Elevation, for this
Ceremony, the Commander W.Bro. Tony Hall invited
W.Bro .Geoff Catterall to assist his by conducting the
Ceremony.

The Ceremony of Elevation was conducted to a high
standard, W.Bro.Neil Brown explained and
demonstrated the Signs, later the Senior Deacon Bro.
John Jones presented and explained the Working
Tools.
 
The next business was to Install the Senior Warden
Bro. Allan Newman as Commander of the Lodge.
 
The Installation was exceptionally well worked by
W.Bro. Tony Hall in a warm, friendly and smooth
manner, enjoyed by all present.
 
 
 
 
During the course of this Ceremony Worshipful
Brother Glyn Davies presented W.Bro. Tony Hall with
the Lodge Past Commanders Jewel, this Jewel
originally belonged to Glyn's father George who was a
Past Commander of the Lodge.
 
The Lodge were also honoured to have in attendance
a Member of the Grand Masters Royal Ark Council
R.W.Bro. Tom Jackson, whilst he is a member of the
Lodge his attendance was much appreciated by all
present.

Worshipful Brother Glyn Davies R.A.M.G.R. attending as the Provincial Grand Masters Representative on his
behalf, at the appropriate moment congratulated all who had taken part, wishing them well, at the same
time encouraging their enjoyment of all their masonic activities lastly thanking them for the donation
supporting the Rosemere Cancer Centre this was done via the West Lancs Mark Charities also for the
donation to Chorley Masonic Hall Building Fund, which as all Masonic Halls, need our support !
 
The Festive Board was a lively affair with the Brethren enjoying excellent food and good company in
pleasant surroundings. 
 
At a suitable interlude a raffle was held which once again showed the generosity of Royal Ark Mariners.
 
As the end of the evening W.Bro. Allan Newman wished everyone well, thanking them for their support.
